Our Strategic Priorities
- Encourage economic growth and community development by:
- Fostering entrepreneurship, economic diversity, investment and technological innovation
- Supporting sector development in the areas of transportation, value-added agriculture, tourism, education and other areas.
- Support initiatives to increase northern skill levels, in partnership with northern communities, business, industry, learning providers and students.
- Increase awareness about Northern Alberta’s employment and lifestyle opportunities.
- Establish priorities for northern opportunities.
- Build partnerships among key stakeholders.
- Lead the way in promoting a strong brand for the North.
